Charo, Shaki o Sofia as New Oprah? Oh, and Free Music Downloads for You
The Queen of Daytime — and Everything Else — Oprah is allegedly going to quit her show in 2011. If that is so, she would have been on the air for 25 years. Should that happen, the Tiki Tiki would like to just put it out there that this could pave the way for a Latina to take over the daytime spotlight. Because, you know, we like to talk. And, if George Lopez got an evening show, then a mamita could get a daytime show, si?
We put the question to our friends in Twitterlandia last night, and we came up with Sofia Vergara, Shakira and Charo. Cuchi Cuchi! They could even be the Latina View. And seriously, can you imagine the popularity with the male demographic?
Speaking of Shakira, have you seen Shaki’s latest video with Lil Wayne? (We’ve said it before, but we’re coming back as Shakira in our next life. Or, at least as her mid-section.)

Y despues nos quejamos de los estereotipos que impiden que los Latinos tengan mejores oportunidades en este pais. Con todo respeto, no puedo creer que tantas mujeres juntas, no puedan conciliar una lista con Mujeres que sirvan de “Buen Modelo a Seguir”. Charo? Sofia Vergara? Se trata de prolongar la idea de que los latinos NO podemos mejorar nada?
Y poner a Shakira en esta misma categoria con Sofia Vergara, de plano esta fuera de lugar, Shakira si es un buen ejemplo.
Sin afan de insultar a nadie, por favor un poquito de respeto a los Latinos que SI pensamos.
