I really would like my children to learn spanish (they’re 2 and 3 right now) however I don’t know how to go about it…I’m semi-fluent but don’t feel confident that I can correctly teach them just on my own. Definitley been looking for products like this to help me along!

I’m not fluent in Spanish, but what words I do know, I’m teaching my son, which is more than my parents did with me. These videos would be great for both of us!

I’m not entering because my kids are getting a little old, but that Peep show used to crack me up. I love the dry sarcastic humor of Quack.

Thanks for the tip on V-me. I just checked and we have that channel! I think I may have discovered it before but forgot about it. I’m going to write the channel number down and put it near the TV so the kids know there’s another channel they can watch, (outside of Nick Jr., Disney, etc.)

We are desperately trying to teach our son Spanish but with my husband speaking only English, the responsibility is all mine. It’s tough, though, but I’m trying. These videos seem like they are a lot of fun!

I speak to my daughter in spanish, and my husband in english. When we ask her questions we repeat after each other in English and Spanish, so she hears the same question in both languages. She is 20 months and she understands both and translates everything she says like: mami apple (apo) manzana (mansanana)
I hope our technique is working! lol

And by the way, I’m glad there’s another option for Spanish programming. Frankly, I’m not impressed with Telemundo’s and Univision’s programming. Makes me kind of disappointed that my 2nd graders know too much about Spanish novelas not enough about classic fairy tales. :(

I’ll have to check out this new channel.
