Who are you?
I’m a Baby Boomer. I’m creative. I’m a Cuban cook. I’m an avid reader. I’m a writer. I’m a wife. I’m a mom. I’m a good friend. (In no particular order.)
Those are some of the many and varied ways I use to describe myself and my life. I notice that I’m most apt to explain myself by the things that I do and by my relationships.
These are the women in my family. Whenever we have a family get-together, (this photo was taken at Thanksgiving last year) I insist that we take the family photos. I’m pushy that way. Because it’s so important to me to document my life and especially those so important to me. I would encourage you to do the same.
In this group, I am…

A wife.
A mother.
A daughter.
A niece.
A sister.
An aunt.
A great-aunt.
A friend.
The baby.
The Creative One.
I’m also incredibly lucky to be related to all these beautiful and amazing women. =D
How do you describe yourself? Are you The Oldest? The Funny One? Do you use lots of nouns or adjectives to tell about yourself?
Tell me. I want to know who you are.

Interesting, Marta…I’ve been thinking that the labels change sometimes too…I’m not always la jodedora, you know.
Me? Daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend, the one with the big mouth, the one who can get outraged, the grateful one, the bossy one. Hmmm…more to think about.
I’m just getting acquainted with TikiTiki. You’ve got great style going here. I find articles like this muy profundo y sabroso.
